Project management tools help students to understand their role as project managers/members. They describe the process of turning a proposed project into outcomes that meet or exceed the requirements and are on time and within budget.

It will help to familiarize you with work breakdown structures, project estimating and budgeting, scheduling, basic motivation and communications theory, quality control, contract administration, schedule administration, etc.
PMP® training which normally precedes a PMP® certification exam imparts specialized project management knowledge to a project manager. PMP® courses typically include training programs on project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and controlling and project closing. PMP® courses further delve into the details of a project management cycle. PMP® training courses coach a project manager on project integration management, scope management, time and cost management, quality and human resources management, communications and risk management and project procurement management.
PMP® certification is a gateway to a better job, an appraisal or the long awaited promotion for a project manager.
For anyone to apply for a PMP® training course and thereby a PMP® certification, one must have a four year professional degree or bachelor’s degree or an acceptable equivalent degree along with three years of experience as a project manager. People who have a high school diploma or an equivalent degree then they would need a minimum of five years of project management experience.
Along with the educational qualification and job experience, to apply for a PMP® training course one would also need to have a certain level of project management education.
